Dr Milner started the practice in 1990. He is the lead GP in Epilepsy in the Practice.
Qualified Dundee 1992 MBChB MRCGP
Dr Fish joined the establishment in 1997. He is a trainer for the GP Registrar scheme and the Dermatology Lead in the Practice.
Qualified Leeds 1989 MBChB MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Brownlee joined the practice in 2002. He the Musculo-skeletal lead in the Practice and is actively involved in organising medical student teaching and provides tutorials for the GP Registrars.
Qualified Cambridge 1993 MBChir MRCGP
Dr Sutton joined the practice in 1997. Dr. Sutton is a Salaried GP with the partnership and is also the Lead for women's health matters.
Qualified in Leeds 2008 MBChb, MRCGP, DFSRH.
Dr Appleton joined the surgery in September 2018. She is a salaried GP at the practice.
The registrars join the practice for periods of six or twelve months and are trained under the supervision of Dr. Fish and the Deanery of Newcastle University.
The Registrars, for training purposes, must occasionally video consultations. If you are booked into one of these consultations you will be made aware by the receptionist and a consent form will be completed. You may feel that you do not wish to be on the video, this will not affect your care, however, we do ask that you make the doctor aware.
The Nurse Practitioner can prescribe medication but if they feel a referral to one of our doctors is necessary, she will arrange that for you. You should always go home feeling confident you have been treated in the best possible way.

Our Reception Team are your first point of contact at Huntcliff Surgery and provide a friendly welcome to the Practice.
Receptionists are able to provide you with general information on the services that we provide here at Huntcliff Surgery and can assist you by ensuring that you see the most appropriate clinician for your healthcare needs.
Our Reception Team perform a number of duties within the practice such as dealing with appointment requests, repeat prescription requests and queries, contacting patients on behalf of a clinician, dealing with in-coming mail and inputting patient data, among many other tasks that assist with the efficient running of our practice.
Our Practice Secretaries provide administrative support to the clinicians and staff within the practice as well as carrying out a variety of duties.
The Secretaries role includes liaising with a wide range of departments and agencies including Consultants and their Secretaries, Solicitors, Insurance Companies and Social Services.
If you do have a general query regarding your referral our Secretaries will do their best to assist you with your query.
